After successfully completing her Montessori training, Ms. Sreeja founded Adiona with the aim of providing children with a value-based and authentic Montessori education. Her passion for Early Childhood Education and her extensive experience in the IT industry have helped her create a unique learning environment that prepares children for the challenges of the future. Ms. Sreeja's vision is to assist children in discovering the world around them by providing them with a holistic and authentic Montessori education.

Our Approach

At Adiona Montessori House of Children, we believe in providing a holistic and child-centred learning environment that emphasises intellectual, physical, moral, social, and emotional development equally. Our authentic Montessori approach offers a robust platform for a child's overall development, helping them become happy, independent, confident, and self-motivated individuals.

Our unique educational approach is designed to foster the development of a child's natural abilities and interests from an early age. The curriculum emphasises hands-on, experiential learning in a self-paced environment, and encourages children to explore their surroundings and learn through trial-and-error, unlike traditional methodologies that offer the same lesson to every child at the same time. Our flexible and meaningfully curated learning environment empowers children with learning strategies, as opposed to traditional rote learning and nonessential disciplining. Children receive ample opportunities and freedom within limits to make their own choices and experience the results thereof. Our curriculum is organised around five key areas: practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, and cultural studies. In each area, children are provided with a range of materials and activities that are designed to challenge them at a level appropriate to their development, while also encouraging independent learning and creative problem-solving. By providing individualised attention and support, and nurturing a child's natural curiosity and desire to learn, our Montessori curriculum helps to prepare children for a lifetime of intellectual exploration and personal growth.

Our mixed-age group environment is similar to that of a society in the real world, allowing children to relax and enjoy the learning process while working at their own pace and focusing on their age appropriate learning goals and progress. We engage children with practical anddevelopmental activities using real, purposeful, and child-sized materials to assist them in developing real skills and adapting to their environment and society.

We promote the use of natural materials such as wood, cloth, paper, glass, and metal, which provide all kinds of sensory and real experiences as well as opportunities for learning. Working with these activities helps children develop concentration, independence, self-discipline, and confidence, among many other things, which are key factors for a happy and successful life.

We strongly believe in collaborating with parents and working hand-in-hand to provide the best learning experience for children to help them succeed. Our student-teacher ratio of 12:1 ensures that every child receives individual attention along with ample opportunities to exercise their freedom, choice, and work independently.

Our dedicated team of trained adults understands that children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and supported. They observe and guide the child's movements in the classroom to support their development, create a stimulating environment for children, and develop activities involving both adult guidance and peer collaboration to assist children in discovering the facts by themselves.

Most importantly, we encourage and assist children to learn through exploration and discovery, guiding every child towards enlightenment. We strive to illuminate the child's world by helping them to manifest mindfulness, independence, and confidence. Also, we inspire them to challenge themselves when they're ready, assist them in developing greater self-sufficiency, and build an internal sense of purpose, motivation, and identity.
