Adiona Montessori House of Children provides a holistic and child-centred learning environment
that emphasises intellectual, physical, moral, social, and emotional development equally. Our
authentic Montessori approach offers a robust platform for a child's overall development,
helping them become happy, independent, confident, and self-motivated individuals.
Our curriculum emphasises hands-on, experiential learning in a self-paced environment, and
encourages children to explore their surroundings and learn through adult guidance, exploration
and discovery. Children receive ample opportunities and freedom within limits to make their own
choices and experience the results thereof. Our curriculum is organised around five key areas:
Practical life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural studies.
Our mixed-age group environment allows children to relax and enjoy the learning process while
working at their own pace and focusing on their age-appropriate learning goals and progress. We
engage children with practical and developmental activities using real, purposeful, and
child-sized materials to assist them in developing real skills and adapting to their environment
and society.
We promote the use of natural materials such as wood, cloth, paper, glass, and metal, which
provide all kinds of sensory and real experiences as well as opportunities for learning. Working
with these activities helps children develop concentration, independence, self-discipline, and
confidence, among many other things, which are key factors for a happy and successful
life.
Our student-teacher ratio of 12:1 ensures that every child receives individual attention along
with ample opportunities to exercise their freedom, choice, and work independently. Our
dedicated team of trained adults understands that children learn best when they feel safe,
loved, and supported.
We encourage and assist children to learn through exploration and discovery, guiding every child
towards enlightenment. We strive to illuminate the child's world by helping them to manifest
mindfulness, independence, and confidence. Also, we inspire them to challenge themselves when
they're ready, assist them in developing greater self-sufficiency, and build an internal sense
of purpose, motivation, and identity.
